The very first thing that you should know about me is my deep love for Christ. Everything I am, all that I do, is because of Him.
& if you take nothing else from me, take this love. to love Jesus, is to love His people! to love you!
This pours over into my work as a photographer. As I've grown I've begun to slow down and learn to deeply observe my surroundings. Specifically, when I am with my family. There is something in me that longs for simpler, longer days with them. For example; my grandfather is the wisest, most tender and intellectual man I've ever known. He loves Christ with a passion that is rare. The more time I spend on my grandfather's couch, learning from him, the more I want to hold onto the joy and the memories of those days.
This is the way I relate to documenting your wedding. I know there will come a day where you long to look into your wedding day after it has passed, and I want to be the one who creates a time capsule for you.
You deserve your celebration to be documented through the eyes of someone who loves deeply and observes the things that are easy to miss. There is so much joy to be captured on your wedding day, and my heart is to get every moment. I want to document all the little moments. I believe it's the little moments, the in-between kisses, that make life worth loving.

wedding photos should reflect the celebration, not shape it. i'm not here to direct your every move, but i look to quietly observe, listen, and document what is real. real laughter, real hugs. real love. I want to be a part of the natural rythym of your wedding day. it is a complete joy to serve you on one of the most meaningful and memorable days of your life. to create something beautiful that will last...that is abundance to me. your images will hold who you are and the romance you share, long after wedding day has passed.

why i do this:
i find so much purpose in this craft. documenting your most memorable life events means something deep to me. & being trusted with your memories is a high honor. one of my favorite past times is going through family photo albums, hearing stories of what life was like at that moment, smiling at photos of people who've gone home to jesus...there are some moments you never get back. make sure they're documented well.
